Davit Bleyan and I chase Set the Slovenly (there’s such a tale about a boy named Set who is always too piggy) and the microbes everywhere; go into the bathroom after them, take Davit’s clothes off, and with the help of the shower find them and wipe them off with strong water jet. Not a single microbe can escape. We find each of them, beat them with water jet and send them to the drains… davit takes a bath with pleasure every morning.
“What does chase mean, father?”
“Let’s count all the dirty microbes”
“What will happen if everybody chase and beat the dirty and piggy boys? ”
It’s a question typical to Gianni Rodari’s heroes: What happenned when sugar disappeared from the world?… Let dirtiness, all the dirty boys and microbes disappear from our Sebastatsi world…
“Father, is the snail an insect or an animal?” I guess they came across a snail while playing in the yard yesterday; for the first time, face to face.
“I want nobody to come like the snail. If nobody doesn’t want to come like a snail, let him come in Vahram’s car…”
I guess Gianni Rodari Review is being carried out in Davit Bleyan’s pre-school group. Look how it is also carried out in the families…The walls between the kindergarten and families are pulled down in this way. I insist persistently that each primary school teacher should actually be the program manager for her 20-25 learners. That is why each of them should be self-realized during the May Gathering; they should present themselves as developers, organizers and circulators of the educational program both at school and at home, in Armenia and Georgia.
Our “Fable book” published its 200th fable; this is an as important event as publishing my 300th note, my faithful Khachatur Abovyan (an Armenian writer) would say “My darling, dear, my loveliest nation”, that is why I want to cite it for my readers as an honor.
To the question if the world will be saved the hermit answered; “Everybody thinks it is the world that should be saved. Everybody knows better than others how to do this. But the humans are different and they can’t live in harmony: they quarrel, kill each other. The moment humans begin to save each other and not the world, the world will be saved.”
The world “will be saved” in this way. Our task is to find out how we will save one another. Is our pedagogy, “Sebastatsi World”, engaged in this process?
The participants of the joint lesson of ecology in March in Tbilisi highly appreciated the existence of the Educational Eco Tour…And now they make special issues of Eco News as public reaction to emergency situations… Michael Kamendatyan and Marta Asatryan, chase the slovenly everywhere… Let it be your lifestyle in actions not only in your speech as a display of freedom of expression. And their concern about the birds and their nests will be the contents of Eco Tour 2016. What do we know about our activities in 2016? We will have to live till then and everything will be clear. That is why we have to collect all the branches after tree felling, grind them and make compost out of them….We will have to manage our new orchard of newly planted fruit trees before Eco Tour starts. 10 days are left before the Eco Tour application deadline. We should begin planting cherry trees and other fruit trees as projects of nature protection. Today can be decisive, can’t it? I have come to the Educomplex with this firm decision.
When Davit Bleyan and I come down the stairs of the fourth floor, cheerfully as always we do, I hold Davit’s restless hand in my right hand (I hold it very firmly so that I can prevent him from frolicking, jumps and unexpected movements, and in this way he is confident that he is in his father’s hands), and I hold the rubbish bag in my left hand. Taking the rubbish out every day like bathing the male child is the man’s task in the family. It is the same with creating a conversation in Gianni Rodari’s language. You may take it into account that these lines are the headlines of my tomorrow’s 296th diary note…
This morning Davit was holding a chips cyllinder can in his right hand. It had been presented to him by 8-year-old friend Nikoloz Momtselidze from Tbilisi. He had just opened his rucksack taken that attractive can out of it and given to Davit.
“What is it, I want to open it… What is Chips”
Davit hadn’t taste chips before that. He tasted it and liked it so much that he doesn’t want to leave it at home. He wants the cyllinder can to be with him.…
“I will take it to school and share it with my friends; I will tell them that my friend Niko has brought it from Tbilisi”
“Davit, can you see how attentive your Georgian friend is ?”
I liked the idea at once: we will get rid of that monster very soon on the one hand, and on the other hand Davit will tell his kindergarten friends about his friend Nikoloz from Tbilisi.
“I’d love to.”
On the stairs and in the street and in the car I tell Davit about Shoushan, the Educomplex and Georgia.
“Shall we go to Tbilisi with Shoushan to see Nikoloz when summer comes?”
