Well known Avetis Haroutiounyan responded to my yesterday’s diary. Director’s blog is quite another thing, so many people are reading and fulfilling the suggestion immediately! The expected and I’m not sure whether the just interest towards the “Diary”, time that I spent on everyday notes were likely to move the main project-conception of the pedagogue director’s blog to the second place as it is. Though the diary is my direct respond to our educational-public-political event, as a note of the day, it was not only a requirement coming inside of me but also intended to gain readers for the pedagogical blog. I will never leave any of the readers of my diary alone, I’ll keep all my words.
The blog is an exchange of presents especially for my friends Armineh Topchyan, Tigran Parsilyan, Grigor Khachatryan, Susan Markossyan, and my diary is an exchange of presents for me.
In 1980, when it was the 25th jubilee of a number of my fellow students (as you know I have graduated the faculty of Physics of Yerevan State University) we decided to present bicycles to each other in order to go on bicycle trips. What a remarkable year was 1980, and 1981 was an endelible year with its adventure-bicycle-visits! It was a great pity that a great deal of people had taken notice of our bicycles: warm “wishes” of people dear to us! Beloved Hambardzoum Galstyan who was my University friend (both we were members of komsomol and were together till his tragic death in 1994, it was a shock to me) even came to our flat in Hayrenick and asked me for this bicycle for two-three days! Such a bicycle was never to give to somebody or to return back.
So I appeal to all of Sebastatsies, to the pupils of all ages and teachers, let’s present tourist clothes to each other in this anniversary year. I’ve got three remarks; firstly each of us (ok, many of us) needs to recover-repair his connections with his native country, with our sacred heritage Armenia and our proclaimed Republic of Armenia, with our fatherland. Is there any better way to love this land, this few mountains and vales (as my dearest famous Armenian writer Hrant Matevossyan says) than travelling all over with tents and rucksacks leisurely?
Secondly, just this very way is the easiest way to make friends with new people (a bigger wealth than getting in touch with people and a bigger luxury than the human charm one can hardly imagine) and again you may recover connections between the people. Lately I read in meritorious sebastatsy Mariet Simonyan’s blog;“Sense of gratitude makes people happy, be thankful to the people who have done some good to you”.
Thirdly, you should select the tools, it may be by a chance, but not accidentally. For example in 1981 when I was in Tallinn with a group of students and teachers of the class with advanced teaching of Armenian, which I had founded, my friend Arthur Haroutyounyan, a lecturer advised me to purchase a high quality complex called “serebryanka”- a tent, а sleeping-bag, shoes for hiking and a tourist pot, a lamp and а hunting knife called ”Shturmovka”. As I liked to represent with great pleasure none of these things can get wet in the water, burn in the fire and get worn out, on the contrary, it gets better day by day. So having all this in one rucksack I came back from Tallinn and from 1981 to 1985 walked all over Armenia on foot.
A political announcement in the director’s blog: from 1994 to 1996 while being the minister of illumination and then the first deputy of the minister of education and science I had the chance to meet and to be in all the cities and towns of the Republic of Armenia, Djavakhk, and Artsakh.
Now I’m making the third circle. Within the educational project called “Vital-cultural hike” held by the education complex with the choir of teachers “Sebastatsiner”, as a director-producer I walk all over Armenia, Artsakh, Djavakhk, and I’m so happy that Western Armenia was added as well, and listen to the songs of ours in all the functioning and not functioning.
An educational advertisement in the director’s blog. On the 8th of June by the initiative of our natural philosopher teacher, the director of Comprehensive Educational Digitech 2015 Azniv Hovhannnissyan a group of twenty people will leave for Gandzasar through Tartar (spending a night in the village Vank), Martouny-Chartar-Amaras (nights in Chartar and Amaras) and spending a night in Shoushy will come back to Yerevan via Khndzoresk and Goris.
